Let’s celebrate the women who raised us, have been our shoulder to cry on and our mentors through life.

Show the beautiful and hardworking women in your life you love them by making them feel special on Sunday! Here are a few ways to do just that in Orange County.

Show your mama how much you appreciate her by planning a picnic of her favorite delicious, homemade foods! This is a great option if you don’t have the budget to do anything elaborate, but still want to treat her to a nice day out.

Orange County is home to some beautiful wilderness parks and beaches.  Mother’s Day is a perfect day to enjoy them! Be sure to check out Corona del Mar State Beach. Not only are there grassy hills to lay on, but you have a scenic view of the beach. Grills and beach fire pits are available for public use, which is great for some quality bonding time.

Treat your special lady like the queen she is. Delight her with reservations to her favorite Orange County restaurant.

Everyone loves good eats, especially hardworking moms, and there is plenty delicious food to go around in the area this Mother’s Day. Be sure to check out Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen for flavors inspired by Mexico and Latin America.

Cafe Gratitude, which specializes in a gourmet plant-based cuisine, is too good to be vegan. It’s heavenly. Be sure to make reservations early because tables go fast!

I think we can all agree every woman loves to be showered with flowers.

So why not sweep her away to the Sherman Library & Gardens where she can do just that— or at least admire them. Containing only the dreamiest exotic plant-life, this is a beautiful place to walk around, snap a few photos and enjoy a cup of afternoon tea or lunch in their cafe. It is the perfect and quaint escape for a peaceful afternoon stroll. There is also a library within the garden that contains a collection of about 25,000 books and other printed goods relating to the history of the Southwest. Sounds like the perfect sunny afternoon for a lady looking to relax!
